Annual Antiques Fair to be held Sunday, August 8th

Like visiting a museum, browsing among antiques is like stepping back in time. Antiques are a collection of our past and through various objects, help to tell the stories of how people used to live. One look at an old ceramic mixing bowl might bring back memories of grandma making your favorite cookies, or that old Beatles album reminds you of being a crazed teenager who played that record for hours on end. Last August, Hearthside hosted its first Antiques Fair, and it was such a success, we're doing it again! Plan to join us on Sunday, August 8th between 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and browse among all kinds of antiques and collectibles. Area dealers will be set up around the grounds of Hearthside and welcome your offers to purchase their wares.

Of course, Hearthside will be open for touring, and our docents in period attire will be on hand as guides. The Hearthside Gift Shop will have available for purchase the new Hearthside ornaments, as well as other mementos. Refreshments will also be available. Admission to the Antiques Fair is $5 and includes free parking. All proceeds go toward the continued restoration of Hearthside.
