American Girl Doll Tea to be Held May 3

A very special affair on Sunday, May 3rd is specifically designed for young girls to experience the elegance of a grown-up Traditional Tea but with simpler foods more to their liking. This event gives young girls a chance to dress up in their best outfits, bring along their American Girl Doll (or any other favorite doll) and is a wonderful opportunity for Moms and grandmothers to spend  time making precious memories with their girls.

The American Girl Doll collection represents fictional characters from a specific time period, social background, and segment of U.S. history.  The dolls are dressed in period clothing and come with books about the period in which they lived their fictional lives.     

Tea, lemonade, dainty sandwiches and sweet treats will be served on lovely table settings, with lace, linens and china.  Girls will be given lessons in proper Victorian etiquette to learn how girls their age would have been taught a hundred years ago.   While lovely hats and white gloves are encouraged, they are optional.  Raffle prizes, shopping and tours are provided as well.

Because of high demand, two seatings are offered at 1 pm or 3 pm.
